BackyardBargains.com and Patriot Bio Products, Inc. have partnered up to give you the best of both worlds: the greatest selection of tiki torches on the planet and a green bio fuel!
Look at these specs:
• 100% recycled material (vegetable oil)
• 100% renewable
• Burns clean, environmentally friendly – no pollution at all
• Contains citronella – lighting and mosquito protection
• Burns twice as long as standard tiki torch fuel
• Won’t harm your grass, flowers or any of your landscaping
Your backyard parties will never be the same, and you can brag to your guests that you’re saving the planet while pouring their lemonade! That’s thanks to The Purple Skeeter Beater, one mean and green product that will change your outdoor enjoyment forever.
Let’s talk about this new and interesting fuel. You may have heard about burning vegetable oil in your car’s diesel engine in place of gas. This is the same thing. That same bio fuel can now be used to fuel your tiki torches thanks to a company called Patriot Bio Products, the company that produces The Purple Skeeter Beater.
The Purple Skeeter Beater burns clean – that means no pollution. Period. Patriot Bio Products manufactures The Purple Skeeter Beater to meet the highest quality standards for recycled bio fuel. No more nasty smell from that wicked black smoke swirling around your tiki torches, and no more wondering where it all ends up.
You know, the US has historically been a leader in energy consumption . . . and, unfortunately, pollution. That’s what we get for being a global manufacturing leader. But we’re changing our tune, and especially our way of making stuff, so our energy footprint is slowly decreasing. If each one of us starts small – like using The Purple Skeeter Beater – we’ll make a difference over time.
It may sound like a small thing, using The Purple Skeeter Beater instead of a non-renewable fuel, but when you add up your small thing to your neighbor’s small thing, and add that sum to your community’s, and then to our global efforts – well, it adds up to a lot. And that’s how we’re going to make a difference, one little thing at a time. But back to The Purple Skeeter Beater –
One of the sweet advantages of using The Purple Skeeter Beater is that it’s totally renewable. That’s 100%, in fact. Because where does vegetable oil come from? You guessed it: vegetables! And every year we grow more and more of them. So it’s not at all like drilling, excavating or mining for non-renewable resources like coal, oil and gas. As long as we’ve got ground to plant in and sunshine and rain to nourish, we’ll always have vegetable oil.
And to add more green to an already-green product: The Purple Skeeter Beater burns twice as long as other fuels – and you know what kind of savings that means! Yessiree, we’re all about g-r-e-e-n energy savings . . . Washington, Lincoln, Jackson….
Another advantage of using The Purple Skeeter Beater is you don’t need any other mosquito repellant techniques and tools hanging around your yard to stumble over. You can throw away those candles, sell the zapper in a yard sale and roll up the netting for good. The Purple Skeeter Beater contains citronella, a widely recognized mosquito repellant, so while you enjoy the warm, islander flames you’ll also be enjoying a mosquito-free environment!
And one more advantage for those who are, uh, “balance” challenged: no more dead spots in your lawn from spilled fuel. The Purple Skeeter Beater is totally safe for all your outdoor greenery. That also means you don’t have to worry if you find a fuel spill in the spring from stored torches – and you don’t have to call the Hazmat team to clean up: The Purple Skeeter Beater cleans up with soap and water. And that’s that. You can’t get a better product from a better company.
BackyardBargains.com has a goal of making your life better by providing quality home and garden accessories at the best prices around. In their search to continually improve their offerings to you, they began a partnership with Patriot Bio Company to provide their customers with the best, safest and most eco-friendly fuel for their tiki torches. Backyard Bargains.com is a perfect fit with Patriot Bio Company.
When it comes to providing a safe, friendly renewable fuel source, Patriot Bio Company is leading the pack. Their goal is to help the US wean itself off foreign oil – and their product The Purple Skeeter Beater is only the beginning. Patriot Bio Company also uses recycled plastic bottles because they believe in saving and protecting what we already have.
The Purple Skeeter Beater and the largest selection of tiki torches anywhere . . . what could be a more perfect match than a partnership between Backyard Bargains.com and Patriot Bio Company? Sort of like when syrup and pancakes first met, don’t you think?
Your outdoor gatherings will never be the same after you set up tiki torches and create some beautiful atmosphere. Additionally, numerous models of home decor and outdoor decor items like curtain rods and outdoor tiki torches for your home or restaurant.

YOUTUBE HELP CENTER : YT3D: Preparing videos for 3D viewing here on YouTube! Background: This video was shot on July 28th 2009 looking south from the Roosevelt Island Aerial Tramway as it leaves from the 60th street platform at 2nd Avenue. The Tram heads East along the north side of the Queensborough Bridge (The 59th Street Bridge) and arrives at the Island 4 and a half minutes later. In ‘Depth’ HOW TO: First off, you MUST have SEPARATE LEFT AND RIGHT EYE VIDEOS to produce full real 3D video for YouTube. You’ll also need access to a fairly good Non Linear Editor like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere that will allow you to composite and distort your original HD or Standard Definition videos. I used Final Cut Pro so I’ll be describing instructions for that app, but this procedure can be followed in almost any NLE. This example video here on this page was uploaded as a SIDE BY SIDE video at 1280×720. The 16:9 left and right ‘eyes’ have their aspect ratios distorted to accomplish this. in the NLE’s timeline. To do this in Final Cut Pro, Load each clip into the viewer and go to the distort section of the Motion Tab. Slide the Aspect Ratio slider to 100 which makes the videos display at half their original width. Do this to both the LEFT and RIGH EYES Now, position the left clip at -360, 0 and the other to +360, 0. If you’re using video that is a size other than 1280×720, these numbers will be different. (They can be ’swapped’ later using ‘tags’ if you have them backwards. See …

Mobile phones manufacturers seem to have caught onto the idea that ‘mini’ phone models appeal to a wide audience, HTC have now released their own new handset to compete with rival manufacturers in the form of the HTC HD Mini.
Nokia were the first to release a new pocket friendly version of a popular model in their Nokia N97 mini phone, this was a shrunken version of their best selling N97 model and was promoted to the fashion and youth market.
Next to follow was Sony Ericsson, their latest release and first ever Android powered handset has already been announced in two smaller formats, the huge screen of the Sony Ericsson X10 at 4 inches means that it will not suit everybody, however the new Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and Mini Pro editions strip this back to 3.2 inches for practicality purposes.
Getting back to HTC, they have followed suit with their own new mini phone which is a direct upgrade (for want of a better word) to the previous HD2 handset which still features the largest touch screen available on the market at a massive 4.3 inches.
The new HTC HD Mini miniaturises this down to a manageable 3.2 inches which seems to be the most popular size amongst consumers but keeps the majority of features found in the original model.
These features include the HTC Sense user interface, WiFi, HSDPA, Bluetooth, GPS with digital compass, Windows Mobile 6.5 (although in this case its the newer 6.5.3) and a high quality 5.0 mega pixel camera with autofocus on the rear of the phone.
It looks increasingly like the manufacturers have decided that the most popular size of a mobile phone touch screen is between 3 and 3.2 inches, the majority of new handset seems to be offering this size with rivals to this latest HTC phone being the Nokia X6, Sony Ericsson Vivaz, LG Pop, Nokia N97 mini, Samsung Monte and Samsung Wave.
HTC have been busy recently releasing even more models, the HD Mini joins the recently launched HTC Desire and HTC Legend handsets which both run the Android operating system. The Legend is closest in terms of specifications with a 3.2 inch screen and 5 mega pixel camera.
The HTC HD Mini has now been made available on the Orange network on a range of third party pay monthly deals, this comes after the phones initial release as a SIM Free and unlocked handset just the day previous with further network launches expected very soon.
The HTC Desire has now joined the HTC HD Mini from the manufacturers portfolio for 2010.

The new Mini edition of the HTC HD2 has now been launched on a fourth network operator, the HTC HD Mini is now available on a range of third party T-Mobile deals after initially being released as a SIM Free and unlocked phone as well as on the Orange network in early April.
Since then the new HTC HD Mini has gone on to also be launched on O2 and Vodafone contract deals and now has been picked up by the T-Mobile network further expanding the number of pay monthly tariffs available for this latest Windows phone.
The HD Mini only has one thing in mind, that is to offer the same great features found in the previous and rather large HTC HD2 model but in a far more pocket friendly format. This new mini phone successfully does this by shrinking down the size of the main touch screen from a massive 4.3 inches to a far more reasonable 3.2 inches which makes for a far smaller footprint.
The phone packs a real punch in terms of features negating none of those found in the HD2, there is a 5.0 mega pixel camera, the latest Windows 6.5.3 operating system and the HTC Sense user interface running over the top for a smooth user experience.
The biggest difference between the two models is that the larger screen of the HD2 needed a whopping 1GHz processor to operate, the HTC HD Mini only needs a 600 MHz processor due to its smaller screen size which also more than takes care of running the abundance of new applications which can be downloaded from the Windows App Store.
The HD Mini joins two other new models from the manufacturer which have all been released this year, the HTC Desire and HTC Legend are the two latest Android powered phones to hit the market with the Legend offering the same 3.2 inch touch screen.
More competition comes from the Sony Ericsson Vivaz and Nokia X6 which both offer the same sized screen as well as the latest Samsung Wave and previous LG Pop and soon to be released Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini which is a similarly slimmed down edition of a larger handset, on this case the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10.
There are still further network operators due to pick up the new HTC HD Mini with 3 Mobile and Virgin Mobile yet to release this powerful little Windows device, there is also a planned launch on the pay as you go scheme for those that cannot pass the credit checks or who simply do not want the commitment of a contract phone deal.
The HTC HD Mini and bigger HTC HD2 are two of a number of new phones to be released by the manufacturer featuring the Windows Mobile operating system.
