Today, June 15, at E3 2010 Nintendo announced there brand new Nintendo 3DS. This new 3DS will feature a 3.5″ display, touch panel, 3D depth slider, slide pad, 2 camera lens for 3D picture taking, ability to watch 3D movies, and it can communicate with other 3DS while asleep or playing different games. There was no price or release date announced, but I would expect it soon.

Video from the Panasonic press conference at IFA 2009, where they launch a new compact DSLR camera the Panasonic GF1 as well as they are doing a big deal out of showing 3D Full HD HDTVs for the first time. 3D glasses are required. The producer of James Cameron new HD movie Avatar is on stage explaining the point of 3D movies a bit. Pricing for 3D HDTVs is yet unknown. Panasonic’s 3D Blu-ray players will support outputting 3D HD from 3D Blu-ray movie discs. I don’t really like 3D glasses, they make a fuzzy image. I wonder if Panasonic has managed to make the image of nicer quality. I’ll post more videos of this and other new Panasonic products later. A music video (like an AMV) I made a LONG time ago as a tribute to all the Ecco the Dolphin games, I think it’s still a nice tribute and deserved to be seen, so I posted it. :3 Games shown are Ecco the Dolphin & Ecco: Tides of Time from Sega Genesis, Ecco Jr, The 3D Ecco movies from the Sega Saturn edition, and Ecco: Defender of the Future on DC. I love this series so much… X33 I grew up playing it on my Genesis. All clips (except the 3D movies from the Sega Saturn edition, and the two blurry Ecco 1 clips from the Ecco AD) were captured directly by ME off of my Dreamcast and Genesis using a digital camcorder with a A/V input wire. And yes I did actually lip sync Ecco while he was tail walking to sing that one line. XD (As you know you can control his dolphin chatter with a button lol). And no the Dolphins from Ecco 2 swimming in formation is NOT a hack it’s from when you beat the Vortex Queen. XD Also, sorry ahead of time for the poor Video quality. ^^;; it converted weird for youtube. Song: Dolphins Cry (by LIVE) … I hope they make an Ecco 3 someday that is a TRUE sequel to Ecco: Tide of Time! From what I read in an interview with the creator of Ecco on ‘DARK SEA’ (The best classic Ecco resource site out there), the creator has had plans for the story of the third installment for a long time but currently has no plans/team to make the game. One can hope!
